If John seems out of it please blame the toothache that was kicking his ass.
He took the day off today to visit the dentist. She prescribed some antibiotics and pain killers.
A root canal is in his near future...yay.



In spite of his toothache, The Art Monkeys managed to complete their flamingo painting and they're thrilled with it. You can't really see the glitter in it in this picture. They have special plans for how it will be displayed at Artomatic, but will save that for another post. ;-)

The Art Monkeys' Artomatic Adventure Begins!

Well, actually, it technically began the moment we rushed home to our computers to register a few weeks back. But this is the first of a series of update videos on our on-site art adventures. Today we began transforming our space, Room 113 on the first floor.

LP is the Real Deal!

During an art gig this weekend the Art Monkeys were fortunate enough to catch LP's performance at the Sweetlife music festival. We were on our way out of the pavilion when her voice stopped us in our tracks. We made our way to the stage and became instant fans. WOW...just wow.

We were thrilled to get to meet her and her manager briefly. I downloaded her EP the minute I got home. YOU SHOULD TOO!
